Two-Day Tin Lantern Workshop

Saturday & Sunday, September 20 & 21 ~ 9:30 am to 3:00 pm each day

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at tinsmithing? During this two-day workshop, participants will make their own pierced tin lantern under the direction of our village Tinsmith. Advance registration is required. Open to ages 16+.

Cost: $200 per participant (includes all materials)

Letterpress Christmas Card Printmaking Workshop

Session 1: Saturday, September 20 ~ 9 am to 4 pm
Session 2: Sunday, September 21 ~ 9 am to 4 pm

Step back in time and experience the magic of letterpress printing! In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the historic tools and equipment housed in the Norwood Register Print Shop, including presses, typesets, advertising cuts, and more. Guided through the process, each participant will design and print a personalized Christmas card and take home up to ten copies of their creation. The workshop also includes a festive card swap, giving participants the chance to trade one of their cards and build a unique workshop card set. Celebrate the season while discovering the history and artistry of letterpress! Maximum 4 participants per session. Registration required. Open to ages 13+.
